A busy month with good trips to Tobermory, Loch Aline, the Treshnish Isles, the Corryvreckan whirlpools, and out past Ardnamurchan Point for some whalewatching.
In mid-August, Chris and Elaine took the boat up to Plockton, where they were based for a week while they carried out survey work in Loch Carron, Loch Torridon and the Sound of Raasay. The week provide some fantastic wildlife encounters with dolphins and porpoise, and the white-tailed sea eagles at Portree.
