A fantastic day out with some great friends from our cruising days with 'Chalice'. We started with a walk at South Shian Nature reservewhere they quickly identified a grasshopper warbler, but with requests for 'divers' and 'otter', we had to get out on the water.
Sure enough, we were able to deliver and soon found a pair of great northern diver in a secluded bay. There were eider a-plenty, grey heron, red-breasted merganser, canada geese and black guillemot. Oh yes, and an otter!
